About us
Terra is a charitable foundation, founded in 1994 and registered in Spain. We are based in Barcelona.
Our Vision:
- Our world in balance.
Our Mission:
- Support scientific research to understand the mechanisms and impacts of global change and develop solutions for the climate emergency.
Our Theory of Change
Terra supports scientific research that shows evidence of the changes going on around us. Our aim is to understand the mechanisms and impacts of global change, especially as these affect the Mediterranean basin, a global hotspot for climate change.
Terra disseminates the evidence of change through its high-impact website https://www.terra.org/
Terra develops practical solutions based on the science, to mitigate future climate change and to help people adapt to the changes taking place.
With the scientific evidence, and the solutions, we aim to create a change in attitudes and behaviours that will lead to a sustainable, just, transition to a world in balance.
Our Strapline
- Science and solutions for the #emergenciaclimática.
